My name is Marty Peters and I live in the St. Louis area.  I am not a member of a fire department nor am I employed in EMS.  But, I do have an interest in both.  Several years ago the web owner of Firefighters Real Stories asked me to research and contribute articles for her site. 

When her site closed, I decided to repost them to my own page.
